Top Ten Tuesday: Norn Iron
March 17, 2009 at 9:00 pm | In Top ten Tuesday | Leave a CommentThis is a new venture, whereby every Tuesday I compile one or several top ten lists, the idea being that I might hopefully get more disciplined into posting regularly and eventually writing meaningful stuff on a regular basis.
Meantime here are some top ten lists which you are welcome to peruse, enjoy or deride at your leisure:
Top ten things about Northern Ireland (what with it being St Patrick’s Day! The South is great too!)
1. Bread: Veda, wheaten, soda, potato (not unique, I know): it’s all good!
2. Linfield FC (sorry Glenmen)
3. Best A-level results in the land
4. Christine Bleakley off of the One Show
5. Bangor Marina
6. The Giant’s Causeway
7. Tayto crisps (best cheese and onion EVER)
8. The craic’s good [and those of you who know that advert will retort with "but the Guinness is great]
9. The Tractor was invented in Northern Ireland
10. The walls of Derry/ Londonderry
C’mon over, I say!
EDIT: Hmm for some reason the remnants of an unused draft were stuck at the bottom of this, hence the random list of football clubs. Oops!
